Bridal bouquets have been one of the most fundamental elements at every wedding for many generations, but in the past few decades have become much more than just a handful of daisies.  You may love a bouquet that’s beautiful and traditional, but if you’re struggling to find one that sets you apart from the rest, you may be looking for something a little un-conventional.  To help on your adventure, I have compiled a list of stunning yet uncommon wedding bouquets to inspire you in your quest for the perfect one.

Try some non-traditional combinations. Voice your specific point of view by combining flowers you wouldn’t typically see together or even add in some fruits and vegetables.

Achieve ”something old, something new” by combining the traditional peony with the modern orchid.  Created by Petalena.

More and more, flowers aren’t the only things you can add to your bouquet.  We love the artichoke and lettuce elements in this one.

How beautiful would this apple bouquet be for a romantic fall wedding?  April & Karen Yu are the masterminds behind this arrangement.

Why not add succulents? They add beautiful shapes and silhouettes to a bouquet, can be taken out and replanted in a pot and look beautiful for months on end.

The beauty is from housemartin.

A woodsy bouquet from Chicago-based Pollen Floral Design.

Can’t you just see this in the hand of a bride wearing cowboy boots?  Image by Stephanie Williams.

Or opt for something completely non-floral. Throw all the rules out the window and choose a material that best represents your style and wedding theme:

Enamel, earring and brooch bouquet from Etsy seller, Hair Bows Wonderworld.

A gorgeous and very-detailed felt bouquet done by Princess Lasertron.

This eye-pleasing paper bouquet is by One Happy Girl.

I have seen bouquets made of buttons and sea-shells, feathers and rhinestones.  Traditional bouquets can be just as beautiful, but if you’re looking for something personal and unexpected, don’t be afraid to try something new.
